The product I want to purchase is sold out, what to do?
Vank Design’s bags and accessories are always created in small quantities. It might be the case that I am working on the exact new bag or accessory, but have not yet changed the stock on my website. Please feel free to contact me about which product it concerns and you will receive an email when and if the item will be back in stock.
What payment options do you offer?
Vank Design accepts payments via credit card or PayPal. Payment via PayPal is possible by choosing the PayPal option during checkout. It can be done either with your own registered account or through a credit card payment (for which you do not need to register).
How does your shipping work?
After receiving the payment, Vank Design ships via registered mail through PostNL, which will require a signature upon receipt of the item. You will always receive your tracking number in a shipping confirmation by email. Tracking is done through internationalparceltracking.com. Any additional customs charges, taxes or other additional postal fees that may occur will be paid for by the buyer.
Where can I find the shipping costs?
Calculate your shipping costs within your cart. You can find the cart on the top right of every page. Vank Design offers worldwide shipping.
How long does it take before I receive my Vank order?
It usually takes around 7-14 days to ship to European countries. US, Canada, Australia and other international countries take around 7-21 days. Please understand that I have no influence on the shipping times. This is done by PostNL.
How do your refunds & exchanges work?
If your new bag or accessory doesn’t suit you, we can work out an exchange. A refund is possible if you return the product and contact Vank Design about this within 14 days after receiving the item. If the item has been damaged, this will be deducted from the original price and a common impairment charge will be calculated. Please note that all shipping costs are at the buyer’s expense. The parcel remains your responsibility until it arrives back at Vank Design – remember to ask for proof of postage, so if your parcel goes missing in the mail, you’ll have proof you’ve sent it.
When I buy something online, how do I know what the quality is?
Every product has got detailed information about which materials are used. This can be found underneath the ‘Materials’ tab on every product page. Depending on your screen, the color of the items could slightly differ. The color perceived on screen and the item color itself may have some variation, please allow for these differences in color.

You are using organic cotton as well as normal cotton lining. How do I know which one is used?
This will be specified in the product information of the item, under the tab ‘Materials’ on every product page. The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is an independent testing and certification system for textile raw materials, intermediate and end-products at all stages of production for harmful substances. My goal for the near future is to deliver lined goods that are all made of organic cotton.
Can I find Vank Design items in stores?
You can buy Vank Design items only online or at events which I will attend personally. This is done purposely to cut out the middleman and keep the prices fair.
I would like to purchase an item as a gift
Working with leather
All the Vank goods are made from natural hides, so slight inconsistencies and differences in the texture may be present. Don’t worry, these are not defects. They are completely natural and will only enhance the natural beauty of the product which gives your item the unique look. All the Vank goods are made of 100% natural premium leather, handmade from beginning to end in my home studio in Amsterdam.
